Calvin's Story
Living in the Cloisters area in Morro Bay. Still work. Pharmacy Director for Community Health Centers in Nipomo. We sevice the underserved- CMSP, homeless, and psych patients. While it can be very challenging at times, I am still having fun and have no immediate plans for retirement. That's a lie Dec 31. "no mas" !! I do still miss my freinds from Selma and the valley, but I can't say I miss the heat. My off time. I spend reading pharmaceutical journals, going to movies, eating out, getting sweaty at the gym, shooting hoops (when the knee is good), playing(?) my string instruments (when my pinkiy finger works), and just plain getting Char's way. I feel Blessed every day.
How do I want to be remembered? ...Expand for more
What? At 70 I'm writing my own eulogy? Let's see...trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrify, brave , clean, and reverent- hey! I still remember that from Boy Scouts! !! I don't know... I guess you'll be remembered however people so desire. To some people in high school, I was a straight arrow. To some boisterous, rebelleous.. to some quiet...others maybe overbearing. And yes I can also admit that I was a Jerk. And I hereby declare and apologize and request foregiveness to all those to which I was a jerk, a-hole, bully, and a long list of names that are not G-rated. And a huge "thank you" to all those teachers and parents that put up with me. (updated 5-30-16)
